Bird Houses and Feeders FPP: Feeder #6 release
Hi, paper piecing friend!
I have released another bird feeder in my new backyard series: the final one--Bird Feeder #6! Only one more house to go before all the rest of the scenery. (I have a file, upon request, that shows the complete houses and feeders options for a whole backyard scene.)
Feeder #6 is of an orange slice and jelly-style feeder, featuring an oriole!
You may be familiar with my National Park patterns or my many Bird blocks… well right now I have been releasing a full scene of backyard birdhouses and feeders through the year. By the way, each pattern comes with a winter version:
1.
This chick was supposed to be round all the way around, but at the time I didn't know anything about matching up the sections. This is one of my first attempts at the technique of paper piecing--(it's not my pattern, it is the sitting hen and pecking chick from the website, Sewhooked). I still keep this mistake up in my studio to remember my beginnings, and how amazing FPP is!

Just for fun: this one is also not my pattern, I sewed it from a pattern by KitschEmpireCo on Etsy, but it's a very cool block to share. It is a part of a whole quilt I made--you can find more of it in my Instagram highlights.

I have a free download, upon request, of a file of my complete houses and feeders planner. It shows all the upcoming blocks, and lets you plan out which ones you will collect and arrange. Feel free to email me or comment here to request this file for free via email.
