Bird Houses and Feeders FPP patterns series: Final birdhouse!
Hi, paper piecing friend!
I have released another bird house in my new backyard series: the final house--Bird House #7! All that is left is the other scenery blocks (I have a file, upon request, that shows the complete houses and feeders options for a whole backyard scene.)
House #7 is another house that hangs on a shepherd's hook. You may have noticed that each house became progressively more detailed, so this one is very interesting

(I always say that if you can sew a simple FPP, then you can sew a less simple one, because the process is the same. It just has more pieces.)
Each pattern in this series comes with a winter version:
Now here are this month’s 3 fun facts…
1.
I am a little behind, getting my pattern in to my shop "at the last second" of August, because we recently moved a kid into college! If you've been in that situation, then you know all the tasks, and the feelings!

I am also slowly working on my next National Parks pattern-- which have been put a bit on hold while I complete this series on a timeline this year. My next one is Shenandoah. All my patterns begin by being drawn by hand!

I am very proud to say that my Dad entered his first full quilt (first one that he did all on his own) into our State Fair. And he won first place in his category! His is the blue and brown one that is hanging, which is his own variation of Storm at Sea. Besides the fact it is gorgeous, he chose all the fabrics, he put it together without an actual pattern to guide him, he added sea turtles via embroidery, and he quilted it. (!)
